Peer Review Report

What Our Peer Review Means for You

A peer review is one of the most rigorous quality assurance processes in the accounting profession. Conducted by an independent team of CPAs, the review examines our firm’s accounting, auditing, and attestation engagements to ensure they meet the highest professional standards set by the AICPA.

Receiving an unmodified report means that our quality control system has been evaluated and found to provide reasonable assurance that we conform with professional standards. For our clients, this translates to confidence that the financial statements, audits, and advisory work we deliver are accurate, reliable, and performed with integrity. We view this commitment to peer review as a cornerstone of the trust our clients place in Hungerford.

Peer Review Report

Every three years, a peer review is performed on our firm. The purpose of a peer review is to verify the quality of accounting, auditing and attestation services performed by members of the American Institute of CPAs who are in public practice. We are pleased to have received an “unmodified” report, the highest level of report, on our most recent peer review.
