Sharon Whipple
Director of First Impressions
Sharon Whipple is the Director of First Impressions at Hungerford CPAs + Advisors, where she creates a welcoming and inclusive environment for staff, clients, and all visitors to the firm. Sharon holds an Associate’s Degree in Executive Secretarial Studies from Grand Rapids Community College and is known for her listening skills, empathy, and ability to anticipate the needs of those around her.

What is your area of specialty – how do you best help your clients?
My area of specialty is “engagement” and being genuinely welcoming to all.

How do you like to give back to the community?
I serve on the planning team for the Wine Women and Chocolate Fundraiser to benefit Women’s Resource Center.

Listening, anticipating needs and engaging with staff, clients and all visitors to promote inclusivity.
Accomplishment you’re proud of?
I quit smoking 3 years ago after 35 plus years! I feel fabulous!
Tell us about your life outside of work (family/pets/sports/activities/interests/hobbies)
I am the oldest of six children, all siblings are local. I enjoy golf, going to the beach, vacationing and a good bourbon.
What is your favorite part of working at the firm?
Being challenged to think outside the box.
