How do you like to give back to the community?
I am the board treasurer at Haven Huis, a nonprofit in Zeeland, helping senior citizens with affordable housing. I also attend the Mosaic worship at Community Church in Zeeland.
What are your superpowers – something you’re good at that others should know about?
My dedication- whether it is professionally working to meet deadlines or personally meeting my daily step goal, I don’t quit until the task is
done.
Accomplishment you’re proud of?
Maintaining a 4.0 in my Bachelors and Masters program at GVSU and passing the CPA exam.
Tell us about your life outside of work (family/pets/sports/activities/interests/hobbies)
I enjoy playing board games with my sister and cousins (I currently hold the high score in Wingspan). I also enjoy my weekly Body & Soul Fitness class and walking with friends.
What is your favorite part of working at the firm?
I get to work on a variety of projects in both tax and audit so I am always staying busy and learning new things.
