How do you like to give back to the community?

I’m passionate about women supporting women, from education and defining a career path to navigating various stage of live. I joined MomsBloom as a member of the finance committee in early 2024 and accepted the Treasurer position later that year. The organization provides families, in particular moms, with postpartum support – giving them the village they need to navigate life with a new baby at home.

I also reconnected with an organization which had an immense impact on my upbringing – Girl Scouts. Through my Board participation in Girl Scouts of Michigan Shore to Shore, I’ve been able to see firsthand the impact the organization has on young women, helping build their confidence, experience new opportunities and build community with others in a positive environment.

As a runner, I’ve connected my heart for service with racing, and support the Brian Diemer Family of Races through in-kind services. The Deimer family has made a substantial impact on the community through their health focused, all ages events and using the proceeds to give back to others through contributions to several nonprofits in greater Grand Rapids.

Professionally, I serve on the board of the Lansing Chapter of the Association for Certified Fraud Examiners, which provides education and networking to CFE’s in the Lansing and West Michigan region.
