In December of 2018, I earned my bachelor’s degree in business administration, with a major in accounting, from Grand Valley State University. In April of 2024, I earned my master’s degree in accountancy from Davenport University.

What is your area of specialty – how do you best help your clients?

I enjoy working with business owners and their team to help enhance their business processes. The best part about my job is being able connect with my clients on a one-on-one basis to personalize our professional relationship. I also love utilizing my bilingual skills to communicate with Hispanic owned businesses and be a relatable source to my clients.

My areas of expertise include financial statement analysis and reporting, accounting and business systems implementation and oversight, as well as not-for-profit grant tracking.

My favorite strength is consistency because it reflects my values and skill set the most. Consistency also refers to treating others fairly and equality. One of my biggest passions is mentoring interns and providing an opportunity for growth.

Accomplishment you’re proud of?

One of my biggest accomplishments is being the first in my family to go and graduate from college. As an immigrant I’ve struggled to find my identity & true sense of belonging, but one thing that has always remained true is my passion and dedication for learning no matter where that is. I am proud and appreciative of all the challenges my family and I have had to overcome to be where we stand today.

Tell us about your life outside of work (family/pets/sports/activities/interests/hobbies)

I enjoy exploring and experiencing new places, spending time with family, and finding new ways for organization. My favorite part of the year is Summer in Michigan because I get to explore the outdoors more with my daughter Julieta and two pups Blue and Benji.

What is your favorite part of working at the firm?

I appreciate the flexibility and ability I am given to explore opportunities that strengthen my skill set.
