Hungerford is pleased to announce the election of Brett Karhoff and Aaron Sal to the position of Shareholder!

Brett Karhoff, CPA, MST – Shareholder
Brett has spent the past 22 years working with a variety of individuals and business owners in a broad range of industries including: manufacturing, real estate, entertainment and media, retail, not for profit, and professional services.
He has been with Hungerford for 6 years and currently oversees the firm’s Tax department. Brett earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Western Michigan University and a Master of Science in Taxation degree from Grand Valley State University.
He enjoys sharing his tax knowledge with others and frequently instructs continuing education courses for the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA) and as an adjunct faculty member at Grand Valley State University.

Aaron Sal, CPA, MSA – Shareholder
Aaron celebrated the completion of his 15th tax season with Hungerford this year. He specializes in tax and financial planning, reporting and providing good ideas for closely-held businesses and business owners in the manufacturing, distribution, transportation and construction industries.
He has in-depth experience with financial statement reporting, tax research, tax return compliance, tax planning and transaction consulting. He enjoys working with West Michigan business owners to provide solutions that add value to their businesses and help drive their continued success.
He earned both his Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Science degrees in Accounting from Grand Valley State University.
