Trevor Staby
Senior Accountant
Trevor Staby is a Senior Accountant at Hungerford CPAs + Advisors, known for his solution-oriented approach to helping clients achieve their financial goals. Trevor graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2020 with degrees in Finance and Marketing, and began the GVSU Master of Science in Accounting program in 2022. He also coaches the Novice Men’s Rowing Team at GVSU, giving back to the program that shaped his development.

Graduated in 2020 From GVSU with Degrees in Finance and Marketing. Started the GVSU MSA Program in January of 2022.
What is your area of specialty – how do you best help your clients?
Being solution oriented, I love to work with people on what they want to achieve and find a strategy to get them there.

Learner is my favorite because I am drawn to learning new processes, subjects, and skills.
How do you like to give back to the community?
I currently Coach the Novice Men’s Rowing Team at GVSU. It was a program that taught me so much so it is an honor to be able to give back to a program that gave so much to me.
What are your superpowers – something you’re good at that others should know about?
I really enjoy taking time to get to know people and hear their stories I like to think I am a very friendly person and just enjoy being around people.
Tell us about your life outside of work (family/pets/sports/activities/interests/hobbies)
I have a twin brother and two younger sisters. I love to golf when I have some free time, and I just got my first cat Eve and she is a handfull.
What is your favorite part of working at the firm?
The camaraderie, everyone is willing to lend a hand when need and work together to put our best foot forward.
